Bill Ehmer



Bill has worked both for and with Private Equity sponsored and closely-held businesses ranging in size from start-up to $500 million. He has diverse industry experience including construction, professional services, manufacturing, packaging, consumer products, technology start-ups, real estate and distribution.

Bill brings focused executive leadership to companies in need of change and/or transition from the status quo, to both sustain business and build enterprise value. He’s provided leadership in customer acquisition and retention, contract negotiation, cost control, best practices and ensuring business integrity. Having completed over 20 M&A transactions, Bill’s expertise includes the ability to lead, evaluate, negotiate and finance acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and strategic alliances.

Specialties and Background
As CEO and acting CFO, Bill was instrumental in leading turn-arounds at both COCAT Restoration & Reconstruction and Arrow Industrial. With improved performance and business prospects, both COCAT and Arrow were successfully sold to strategic buyers. Previously, Bill was COO at Land Title Guarantee Company and CFO for private equity group, Gallagher Enterprises. The foundation of Bill’s professional career was laid at PwC. His vast experience included working in the PwC National Office where he helped create, write and instruct the firm’s entrepreneurial business training program.

Bill has a BS in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and participated in the Leadership Development Program at the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business.

Outside of work, Bill and his wife enjoy traveling to visit family and friends and sightseeing. Bill keeps fit walking, hiking and biking. He’s active in church leadership and has chaired and served on finance, stewardship and HR committees.
